Wedding Elopement Preparations at Shangri-La Paris
We get many couples who choose to elope in Shangri-La Paris hotel. It’s sophisticated & elegant. You get the monumental views and it’s done from the comforts of your room without any stares from the public.
Shangri-La Paris is a beautiful spot to choose for an intimate wedding, not only for its excellent positioning with almost all rooms having a view of the Eiffel Tower. But the hotel alone is filled with lots of history of the French heritage. Built in 1896 and opened not too long ago to the public, 2009 to be precise.

The First look Moment in the Halls of the Shangri-La Paris Hotel
This is the moment that no couple should skip, whether you’re throwing a huge wedding or a small elopement. When the bride gets dressed, gets her hair done, and can finally show her groom. The first look is a must. It gives the bride and groom a private moment to take each other in on a special day like this. Having your elopement at Shangri-La Paris hotel also gives you a beautiful golden backdrop for your photos.
There are so many places you can take pictures in the Shangri-La Paris hotel alone. There’s the beautifully renovated staircase, the Grand salon banquette; which is used to hold wedding ceremonies, other banquets, & of course, the private terrace.
Private Wedding Elopement Ceremony at the Shangri-La Paris Hotel
Just when you think it cannot get any dreamier than this, there is the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was set up on the private terrace to take advantage of the Eiffel tower view. It was decorated with white and pink rose petals on either side of the aisle, Two flower mount pillars with flower bouquets on top, and white candles underneath to tie it all together.

An elopement at Shangri-La Paris is not all you get to do. The other fun part of the day is running around Paris streets and having your wedding photos taken professionally.
G&I chose to have their pictures taken in multiple locations to add dimension to their couple’s shoot. Not only that, but they opted to split the day for day pictures & night pictures which was a great call, and you will see why! They also rented a vintage car, part of our package, to get around Paris easily while having a cool vintage prop for the photos.
