Caitlin and Tom flew all the way from the US to Paris for their elopement wedding. Caitlin is also a wedding photographer, we feel so thankful for your trust in us for the most special day of your life. And it was just beautiful! There were cherry blossoms blooming on their wedding day. The elopement ceremony was held nearby the Seine with an amazing view of the Eiffel tower on a gorgeous spring day in Paris.
Caitlin was so kind sharing their love story and the reason they chose Paris as their destination for their elopement below:
“We met in the most 21st Century way, online, on OK Cupid, and then spent a week chatting over text messages because Tom lost his voice and could barely manage squeaks for those days. When we finally met we knew that there was something special. Traveling has become a part of our relationship (we started planning our first vacation together after dating for a month) and after we booked a trip to Paris and Rome, we got engaged.
We couldn’t think of a more lovely location or memory for our day then to get married in a beautiful place while doing something we loved, so we planned our elopement for our first day in Paris and planned it with Caitlin’s friend, Justina. Justina found Michelle to officiate and Caitlin found Linh to photograph our ceremony. From landing at the airport to saying “I do” on the Seine River under the Eiffel Tower, the day was a whirlwind of activity, but the memories from those moments together, with the beautiful people who helped make it a reality, will stay with us forever.”
