This photoshoot was very special to us as Haruka and Florent are our repeated customers and this was for their vow renewal in Paris. The first time we took photos of Haruka and Florent was in 2017 for some casual couple photos and we have kept in contact ever since. So since 2020 is their 5th wedding anniversary and Haruka asked us to capture them in their wedding attire. We suggested that they could take this opportunity to renew their vows to each other by doing a vow renewal as well and it will be so beautiful and intimate, especially in Paris.
The timeline
We started their vow renewal ceremony at the fountain of Saint-Sulpice, one of their favorite locations in Paris. The place itself is already so beautiful but the floral decoration even made it more romantic. The couple exchanged their vows and then celebrated their special day with a dance and petal toss near the fountain. After that, we moved to the Latin Quarter, Saint Michel – one of the dreamiest spots in the city. Every love story for us is like a unique adventure. We just wandered around, discovered Paris together, and had so much fun! Oh, how we love our couples, how sometimes, they are not afraid to try new things, to laugh out loud, and be a little adventurous.
Our couple’s experience
Upon receiving the photos and video, Haruka told us that this was exactly what she wanted and she couldn’t be happier (you can read her review here). And of course, us too! We feel so honored and blessed to have our clients believe in us and in our vision.
And we know we’ve repeated this many times, your Paris elopement, or your wedding doesn’t have to be grand, it can be small, intimate and yet, meaningful to you, to what feels authentic to you both.
