A wedding elopement ceremony during the springtime in Paris is wonderful, especially in the Luxembourg garden. The weather is warmer, the days are longer, and the flowers are in full bloom. E&D decided to marry in Paris because they’ve been here before and loved it. And they wanted to share this experience with their son, who had never been.
The First Look
There are many reasons why couple opts to do the first look, even at small weddings. Your wedding or elopement is your special day, and there are moments you want to share just between you and your partner. Getting to see each other for the first time on your wedding day is arguably very intimate. It’s the day you both say I do to each other forever. So, it’s understandable that a couple would want this private moment to express themselves freely.
And just look at this moment between E&D. So unique and heartwarming and only took a few minutes. but most importantly, the memories will be there forever.
Paris Elopement Ceremony at Luxembourg garden
The Luxembourg garden is one of the prettiest gardens in Paris. If you’re a history lover, you’d be thrilled to know that it was designed by Marie de’ Medici, Queen of France and second wife of King Henry IV. Marie de’ Medici was tired of life in the Louvre and wanted an Italian-style palace built as a tribute to her childhood memory in Florence.
Land was purchased and the Luxembourg palace and gardens were built.
E&D had their closest family with them to celebrate and commemorate this special day. The ceremony took place in the heart of the garden where the two love birds said ‘I do’. You can watch the full video below.
