Revisited 2021. You probably heard about the fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral and we are really sad about it. But Paris has so much to offer. There are a lot of locations in Paris that you can take a look. And if you have some other location in mind that would love to share with us, don’t hesitate to drop a message.
We believe each of us has once dreamt about coming to Paris and perhaps thought of a romantic proposal under the Eiffel or a poetic wedding in one of many iconic places. As wedding photographers in Paris, we have had the chance to meet many clients coming from all over the world. A wedding is something that is special for all of us. Of course, we all want it to be unforgettable. Although J&P had their wedding back in Singapore, they still decided to have an After-wedding shoot so that they can still capture their happiness and keep it as a memory.
Other stunning location beside Eiffel Tower
When you think of Paris, you can immediately think of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or Versaille. There is something that during the time being a wedding photographer in Paris that we have discovered: you don’t have to go to famous monuments to have amazing photos, it’s the small street and charming little corners that provide picturesque background. We were super happy when J&P asked us to choose the location, it doesn’t have to be somewhere famous but a location that we as wedding photographers are interested to shoot in.
As you can see in this photoshoot, there is no Eiffel, no fancy spotlight. There are some simple yet elegance destination: in front of Odette patisserie, the old but gold Shakespeare and Company bookstore, crossing some random Parisian streets or just simply walking along the Seine. Not many of you may know one of the oldest and the best cafés in Paris: Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole. It is a lovely purple-themed cafe around the corner of Notre Dame.
How to prepare yourself for a pre-wedding photoshoot?
Doing a plain and pure photoshoot with no fancy backgrounds tends to be harder because you’d have nothing to hide. As Paris wedding photographers, we believe the core of capturing good photos is building trust and openness so that you can feel comfortable, and confident to express yourselves being in front of our cameras.
