Paris, the city of love, fashion, and romance, is no doubt one of the most preferred destinations for a wedding. It’s not only famous for its allure but also for its rich history, architecture, and breathtaking views. Nestled in its bohemian heart is Montmartre, a historic hilltop neighborhood with cobbled streets, artistic roots, panoramic city views, and lively squares filled with artists and performers. The neighborhood’s narrow streets, cafés, and cabarets, such as the famous Moulin Rouge, capture the essence of old Paris. But the real gem of Montmartre? The luxurious Wedding Hotel Particulier Montmartre is an elegant venue that offers a mesmerizing setting, perfect for an unforgettable and luxurious Paris micro-wedding.
Shavely & Wilmer opted for this venue to realize their dream wedding in Paris!
The couple’s preparation
On this particular day, the bride began her preparations amid the elegance and charm that the Wedding Hotel Particulier Montmartre is renowned for. The little details mattered, from her veil by Toni Federici Veils to the jewelry by Vanessa Lianne Jewelry that perfectly complemented her stunning dress from Pronovias. Yet, the most unforgettable moment was undoubtedly when her parents saw her in her wedding gown. The emotion in their eyes was a mixture of pride and happiness.

Meanwhile, the groom was in his element. Accompanied by a personal barber, he prepared for the day, not forgetting to pop and sip on champagne while sharing a laugh with his family and close friends.

Secret Garden Ceremony
As guests started arriving at the Hotel Particulier Montmartre wedding, they were welcomed into what seemed like a secret garden from a movie. Lush plants covered the walls, and statues that added to the mystic vibe of the location. The decoration perfectly embraced autumn’s warmth with flowers in different shades of red, pink, and orange. Indeed, it’s a good idea to take into consideration the season of the wedding and the venue while choosing the decorations. The warm color palette contrasted beautifully with the white and red chairs, culminating in a deconstructed wedding arch which was nothing short of a work of art.

Emotions ran high during the ceremony. As the bride gracefully walked down the aisle with her dad, the groom couldn’t hold back his tears, making all the guests emotional as well. It was a ceremony that made everyone laugh and cry in equal measure. In the end, once proclaimed husband and wife by the officiant, the couple added their unique touch with their signature handshake, immediately followed by a kiss!

After the ceremony, it’s always great to capture some moments of the couple with their closest friends and family. We took some lovely shots of the couple in front of the ceremony decor, allowing them to savor the sweet moments after the ceremony.

Celebrations with cheers, sparkles, and laughs
The dinner that followed was an affair to remember. The newlyweds enjoyed custom cocktails from the bar while still taking photos. The evening was filled with touching speeches, hearty laughs, toasts, and even more memorable shots, as the couple and guests celebrated the night away.

But what’s a wedding without a little fun? The party at the Wedding Hotel Particulier Montmartre was truly unforgettable. In true French style, the night kicked off with a Croquembouche and sparkles lighting up the evening, followed by the couple’s first dance, filled with laughter and emotions. Moreover, to make the Shavely & Wilmer’s exit more memorable, the guests lined up with sparkles creating a shimmering aisle for the couple to walk through.

As the beats dropped, the atmosphere became electric as the music got everyone on the dance floor, to have fun with over-sized glasses and light sticks.

Paris has always been the heart of romance, luxury, and fun. Indeed, this is why a destination wedding in this beautiful city is always a good idea!
