We started our photo session on the top of Galeries Lafayette, one of our favorite Paris locations to shoot at as engagement photographer. Since the couple has been living in Paris for a quite a while, they wanted to choose a less-touristy spot but it still captures the essence of the city of love. And we couldn’t agree more, admiring Paris from high above is truly another sensation. After that, we walked around the area for some portraits with the Haussmannian buildings as backdrop – a must take photo in Paris.
Kevin and Kiran met online in 2016 while both living in Toronto. They soon realized they were from the same town and grew up just down the street from each other. Sparks flew on their first date and both went home and spoke with their friends about how they thought they’d found “the one”. Less than a year later they moved in together, converted Kevin’s bachelor pad to a home, and began their family with their fur baby, Odin. Since then, Kevin, Kiran and Odin have moved to France, travelled much of Europe, and got engaged in Paris on the final night before confinement. They hope to marry next year and continue their worldwide adventures with their 90lb bernedoodle.
