Indulge in Opulence: French Destination Wedding at Château de Champlâtreux

In the heart of France, Sandy & Adrien's wedding blended French elegance with Mexican vibrancy creating a unique and creative wedding like no others.

Imagine a picturesque château nestled in the heart of France. This is the setting for Sandy & Adrien’s extraordinary wedding at the Château de Champlâtreux. This two-day extravaganza brings together the romance of a French château with the vivacity of Mexican traditions, creating a wedding celebration unlike any other.

Day 1: Welcome Dinner on a Parisian Cruise – A Celebration Under the Stars

The festivities started with a spectacular welcome dinner aboard a Parisian cruise on the 14th of July, coinciding with the National Day of France. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the couple and their guests gathered for a cocktail party while enjoying the beautiful view of Paris from the Seine River. Our beautiful bride had a short white dress with an exquisite bow tailing behind, while her bridesmaid added a burst of color to the evening with dresses ranging from shades of blue to vibrant red and orange.

Moreover, there was a moment when everyone paused to appreciate the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the backdrop, truly an amazing sight. The air was filled with laughter and joy as friends and family came together to celebrate Sandy & Adrien’s love in the City of Lights!

Last but not least, as the night deepened, fireworks lit up the sky in celebration of the national holiday. Indeed, the 14th of July is an important day for France since it represents the unity of the French people. So it’s tradition to have parades and fireworks all around France as a special tribute to the French national day.

Day 2: French Elegance Meets Mexican Vibrancy during the wedding at Château de Champlâtreux

The wedding took place at the awe-inspiring Château de Champlâtreux, where French architectural grandeur and Mexican cultural flair mixed. Château de Champlâtreux might not be as globally renowned as some of the other French châteaux, but it has its unique charm and it stands as an emblem of the classical French architecture from the 18th century. Moreover, it has also played host to a variety of events and gatherings of intellectuals, ranging from poets, writers, philosophers, and other luminaries of the era.

Bride preparations

The bride’s preparation had delicate and graceful charm, as she wore a white night dress paired with her long bridal robe. Her hair, adorned with gold branches and leaves in a simple yet elaborate way, radiated a goddess-like aura. The wedding dress, an off-the-shoulder adorned with floral designs from Bridal Boutique Lewisville, was in harmony with her hair accessories. Moreover, her dress had a long train, which added more sophistication and elegance to her overall look. Finally, her Jimmy Choo shoes adorned with floral details and a pearl centrepiece with her long simple veil completed her enchanting outfit.

Groom preparations

On the other hand, the highlight of the groom’s preparation was a grand champagne bottle that he popped, setting the tone for the vibrant celebration that awaited. His outfit consisted of a vibrant blue suit from Creation Morgan with cufflinks representing his initials. All of his party had matching gold cufflinks with their initials.

A fairy-tale first look

After Sandy & Adrien’s preparations, it was time for the first look they were both expecting with excitement. Adrien made a prince entrance, on a beautiful horse while Sandy looked like the princess from the fairy tales going down the stairs to reach her future husband. Once they saw each other, the emotions were palpable in the air and it was a wonderful sight.

Dual Ceremonies: Church and Château de Champlâtreux

On this day, two unique ceremonies took place: one was held in a church, following religious traditions while another was outdoors, in the fields of the château. The first ceremony, held in a small but elegant church, featured simple red and white decorations, enhancing the intimate setting.

The second one took place on the château grounds, against a backdrop of sweeping landscapes. The field was transformed into a dreamlike setting with moody yet enchanting decorations in shades of red, pink, white, and gold. During this ceremony, the sound of violinists filled the air as Sandy & Adrien exchanged rings and promises. This is not all, an artist was representing everything on her canvas, turning the ceremony into a work of art.

Celebrations filled with Entertainment and Elegance

After the ceremony, the cocktail hour was lively, with congratulatory hugs, laughter, and group shots. Meanwhile, a mariachi band, typical of Mexican weddings, provided a bright atmosphere. The entertainment wasn’t done, there were also dancers inside transparent plastic balls that added a touch of originality to this amazing wedding at Château de Champlâtreux.

The reception dinner unfolded in a moody and romantic setting, with large paintings adorning the walls, golden chandeliers casting a warm glow, and red curtains creating an air of grandeur. The main colors of the evening were gold, white, and red, with hints of pink in the floral decorations. This color palette accentuated the air of opulence.

Moments of Intimacy: Sunset Couple Shots

As the sun started setting and the festivities continued, we asked the couple to sneak for a moment for intimate sunset shots around the beautiful chateau and beneath the floral arch. Indeed, it would have been a shame not to take advantage of this beautiful chateau that seems out of a storybook. Against the backdrop of the château and the serenity of the French countryside, the results were amazing.

The celebration continued with a captivating display of cake, dessert, and a champagne tower while the entertainment unfolded with a mesmerizing fire dance and the grace of ballerinas.

Then it was time for the first dance, full of emotions and love, followed by a traditional Mexican dance called La Vibora De La Mar (Sea Snake Dance) performed by the bride and groom. The couple stands on opposite chairs and either join hands or use the bride’s veil to create an arch. In the meantime, the guests pass under this arch while holding hands and dancing while the couple must not break this snake formation. However, since the music gets faster, it becomes difficult for the couple to keep it together. This traditional dance is a funny way to involve all the guests and bring them together.

Finally, Sandy & Adrien’s big day came to an end with laughs and dance movements!
